Job Summary 40 hr days Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage security systems and equipment including access control, closed-circuit television cameras, intercoms, alarm systems, and other security-related technologies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Electronics Experience 1-2 years required
  • Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting low voltage security systems and related equipment.
  • Understanding of electrical principles, wiring, and circuits relevant to low voltage systems.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure precise installations and accurate documentation.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and explain technical concepts to non-technical personnel.

Nice To Haves

  • Low Voltage Systems Experience 0-1 year preferred

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure low voltage security systems, including access control panels, closed-circuit television cameras, intercoms, intrusion detection systems, and other related equipment, in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of existing security systems to ensure their optimal functioning.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with low voltage security systems, utilizing technical knowledge and diagnostic tools to pinpoint problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Assist in upgrading and expanding existing security systems to meet the hospital's evolving security requirements.
  • Ensure that security systems comply with relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, repairs, and system configurations.
  • Work closely with the hospital's security team, facility managers, and other relevant stakeholders to coordinate installation and maintenance schedules, address security concerns, and provide technical support as needed.
