About The Position

The Security Logistics Operations Manager is responsible for leading daily warehouse, inventory, shipping, receiving, and deployment operations while ensuring compliance with established processes, service-level expectations, and operational standards. This role provides direct supervision of Logistics Coordinators and serves as the primary operational leader within the warehouse environment, setting the pace of work, driving accountability, and ensuring operational continuity.

Requirements

  • Experience in inventory control and operational systems (e.g., WMS, ERP)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all daily warehouse and logistics activities, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, staging, deployment preparation, shipping, and material handling.
  • Establish daily operational priorities and allocate resources to ensure workload completion and service-level compliance.
  • Monitor workflow throughout the day and adjust staffing and priorities to address changing business needs.
  • Ensure warehouse operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional warehouse environment utilizing 5S and continuous improvement principles.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and throughput.
  • Directly supervise Logistics Coordinators and other assigned warehouse personnel.
  • Manage employee scheduling, attendance, timekeeping, and labor utilization.
  • Conduct daily operational huddles, shift handoffs, and workload reviews.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.
  • Monitor employee productivity, task completion, quality performance, and compliance with established processes.
  • Support employee onboarding, training, and cross-training initiatives.
  • Participate in performance reviews, corrective actions, performance improvement plans, and employee recognition programs.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and customer service excellence.
  • Oversee domestic and international shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials, equipment, and assets.
  • Verify compliance with client requirements, shipping regulations, export controls, and documentation standards.
  • Coordinate deployment schedules and outbound logistics activities to support project and operational timelines.
  • Serve as the primary operational liaison with Shipping & Receiving teams, Dock Masters, transportation providers, and logistics partners.
  • Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delivery issues, delays, or transportation exceptions.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through effective inventory control practices and disciplined transaction management.
  • Ensure outbound inventory, equipment, and hardware meet quality control requirements prior to deployment.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions to reduce recurring errors.
  • Ensure adherence to established operational procedures, work instructions, safety requirements, and client-specific standards.
  • Conduct regular process audits to verify compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain operational metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Analyze operational performance data and implement initiatives that improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with leadership to develop and implement scalable warehouse and logistics processes.
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for operational issues, workflow disruptions, inventory discrepancies, aging requests, shipment delays, staffing concerns, and customer-impacting events.
  • Coordinate resolution efforts across internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Communicate operational risks and service impacts to leadership in a timely manner.
  • Ensure high levels of customer service through proactive communication, responsiveness, and issue resolution.
  • Support internal clients, project teams, integrators, vendors, and global inventory stakeholders.
  • Promote and enforce workplace safety standards and warehouse best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and regulatory obligations.
  • Oversee proper handling and disposition of e-waste, protected waste, and recyclable materials.
  • Conduct safety observations and support corrective actions when necessary.
  • Maintain readiness for audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
