As a Security Logistic Center Officer Full Time Graveyard in Oceanside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors while contributing to a secure, welcoming environment. Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Possess a Guard Card or license preferred.
• Have access control or badge experience preferred.
• Possess CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entrances, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery traffic in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support the orderly flow of vehicle and pedestrian traffic while maintaining awareness of package handling, shipping, and receiving operations.
