About The Position

Orlando Health is seeking a Security Lieutenant to lead a team dedicated to maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and team members. This role involves providing leadership in the absence of the Shift Captain, training and mentoring Security Officers, assisting with performance evaluations and staff development, responding to incidents, supporting de-escalation efforts, ensuring compliance with security policies, and delivering exceptional customer service while managing high-stress situations and collaborating with various stakeholders to resolve concerns.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic Microsoft Word skills for report writing
• 2+ years of security experience
• 1+ year of supervisory or leadership experience
• Ability to obtain a Florida Class "D" Security License within 120 days of hire
• Ability to obtain CPI Certification within 120 days of hire
• Ability to obtain IAHSS Basic Security Officer Certification (or higher) within 120 days of hire
