About The Position

Electro Watchman, Inc. is seeking qualified, experienced persons and inexperienced hard-working individuals looking for a challenging career in the high-tech security industry. The successful candidate will be working with a wide variety of systems including security systems, fire alarms, IP CCTV systems, access control, wandering alarms, panic and hold-up systems, in commercial and residential applications. Emphasis will be on network camera systems through PoE cable.

Effectively and respectfully communicate (verbally and written) with contractors, customers, co-workers.
Must be drug free
Knowledge of basic wiring and electronic principles
Ability to successfully troubleshoot wiring problems
No felonies or serious misdemeanors (crimes against persons, serious property damage, crimes of theft or deception).
Knowledge of fire alarm and burglar alarm systems
Knowledge of CCTV systems
Be able to read and interpret maps, diagrams, and schematics
Have a good understanding of programming control panels
Have the ability to adapt to new, changing technology and older or unfamiliar systems
Must be able to work with heights and enclosed spaces

Nice To Haves

Knowledge and experience of computer networking
1+ years field experience
Nicet certification

Responsibilities

Installation, programming, testing, maintenance or repair of low voltage electronic systems and equipment.
Ensuring system work is in accordance with relevant codes.
