About The Position
In this role you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment for all employees and residents at the community. You will be responsible for securing all areas of the facility, checking for open doors or unusual activity. You will monitor emergency and safety equipment including security cameras, phones, and life safety systems. You will complete regularly scheduled rounds in and around the building. You will communicate about and respond to all unusual activity or emergency situations.
Requirements
- No experience necessary, although previous experience in security in some capacity is preferred.
- Pride yourself on providing and protecting a safe environment for those around you.
- Have a keen eye for noticing unusual activity and things/people that are out of place.
- Excel at confronting and de-escalating or resolving situations that warrant a safety concern.
- Provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination unless exempt due to medical, religious, or personal beliefs.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in security in some capacity is preferred.
