As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Badge Access Patrol in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a residential location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and provide welcoming customer service to residents and visitors. Using clear communication and sound judgment, you will support a positive environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first, team-oriented, and integrity-driven culture.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to maintain an orderly residential environment.
Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken.
Complete required activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
