Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, check credentials, manage visitor and driver entry, and maintain accurate access-control documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and prepare incident reports as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and the business perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Support the orderly flow of deliveries and outbound shipments by observing vehicle and pedestrian activity and communicating relevant security-related information to site contacts.
