This position is located on the Island of Kaua'i (STATE OF HAWAI'I). As a Airport Security Professional - Curbside Patrol in Lihue, HI, you will safeguard the airport, staff, and it's facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
  • 21+ years of age
  • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
  • Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Have customer service experience preferred.
  • Hold CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations and activities according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout public areas, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorized entry where required, while following post orders and directing questions or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support daily operations at a government transportation location by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with routine inquiries, and documenting security-related events and/or policy concerns.
  • Driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors.
