About The Position

As a Security Guard - Distribution Site in Tualatin, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a caring, innovative team that puts people first.

Requirements

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents, operational disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, dock zones, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and delivery traffic, and support access control processes in alignment with location expectations.
Document incidents, observations, and daily activity, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related matters as needed.
