The primary purpose of this position is to maintain the security, safety and well-being of Beaumont’s residents, guests and staff.

Requirements

  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Valid PA driver’s license with a clear driving record (preferably Class II)
  • Must have a pleasant and professional telephone manner and work efficiently under stressful situations.
  • Must be alert and attentive at all times.
  • Flexible for shift changes.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use and adapt to a variety of digital tools, software, and systems relevant to the role. This includes the ability to quickly learn new technologies, troubleshoot basic technical issues, and apply technology to improve efficiency, accuracy, and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Answer telephone promptly and professionally, transfer calls, take accurate messages and relay messages to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
  • Accept and document daily absence callouts for employees (if their supervisor or department head is unavailable) and relay employee messages to supervisors.
  • Responsible for resident emergency alarm and fire alarm system procedures for residents, guests, and staff.
  • Monitor the Brivo Access Control System and respond to any doors that are not secure.
  • Confirm that all visitors/family members/guests sign-in when entering.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.
  • Lock and unlock all non-essential doors at the scheduled times.
  • Responsible for keeping track of master keys.
  • Turn non-essential lighting on/off at the scheduled times.
  • Deliver packages too large to fit in resident’s mailboxes.
  • Transport employees to and from designated public transportation stations.
  • Transport staff to deliver meals to the Villas.
  • Patrol apartment buildings on a routine basis utilizing the Patrol Scan System.
  • Patrol outside areas on a routine basis utilizing the Patrol Scan System.
  • Report parking problems that occur.
  • Write-up incident reports for any unusual occurrence.
  • Comply with any reasonable resident request.
  • Distribute Beaumont literature to the message boxes.
  • Distribute employment applications.
  • Accept and record UPS, Federal Express and other package deliveries for residents and staff.
  • Direct residents and guests to appropriate departments.
  • Maintain the supply of necessary forms, i.e. Resident Away Forms, Access Forms, Employee Applications, Change of Address Forms, Postage Request Forms, etc. at the Front Desk.
  • Interface in a professional and friendly manner with visitors, guests, residents and staff.
  • Direct all prospective residents’ phone calls, walk-ins or inquiries to the Marketing Department.
  • Direct all calls/appointments for the President to the Executive Administrative Assistant.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Must comply with the general attendance policies.
  • Must comply with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Must comply with all Compliance and Ethics policies.
