As a Security Guard Security Clearance Patrol Operations in ARLINGTON, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist with access control and badge activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a professional environment. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense billing operations location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain required entry records, and report irregularities in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout office areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.
