About The Position

This role involves monitoring plant activity, conducting hourly rounds to check trailer and room temperatures, and monitoring all associates entering and exiting the building, including vehicle traffic. The position also includes operating weight master scales for trailers, answering the switchboard after hours, billing loads, implementing company policies, operating company vehicles, inspecting trailers for cleanliness and operability, and receiving shipments of supplies and raw materials. The shift is the 2nd shift, from 1 PM to 9 PM.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write and speak in English
• Ability to walk more than one mile, on varying terrain, in all weather and up/down stairs
• Ability to perform assigned tasks without direct supervision
• Ability to communicate effectively under stress
• Attention to detail
• Professional attitude
• Ability to work any shift
• Minimum High School diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• Strong computer skills preferred
• Security experience a plus
