About The Position

GardaWorld is seeking a dedicated and professional Security Guard to join our hospital security team in Elliot Lake. In this vital frontline role, you will help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities include monitoring hospital facilities, enforcing safety protocols, responding to incidents, and supporting emergency procedures. You will work closely with clinical and administrative teams to help ensure a secure setting that supports high-quality patient care. Requirements

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid security licence
• First aid certification required
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift

Responsibilities

• Patrol critical areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Check identification and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents
