As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting cruise operations, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist guests, crew, and visitors with professionalism. You will communicate clearly, report security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to passengers, crew members, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established vessel and terminal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including passenger-accessible spaces, crew areas, access points, and perimeter locations as applicable.
Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or potential hazards, and report observations to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control, visitor and vendor screening, and documentation of security-related incidents in accordance with site-specific requirements.
