You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to transportation facility clients, visitors, passengers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, parking-related matters, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of parking areas, access points, facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, observe vehicle and pedestrian activity, and report suspicious conditions, hazards, or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain required activity logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
