Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will embody a caring, reliable, and agile approach while working with integrity and teamwork to support daily operations and assist guests and staff.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail common areas, storefront perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, observe foot traffic, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations in accordance with post orders and client guidelines.
Support daily location operations by documenting incidents, completing assigned reports, and assisting with customer inquiries, directions, and other security-related needs.
