Security Guard
About The Position
Brushy Creek is looking for a dedicated Security Guard to help keep our parks, trails, pools, facilities, and events safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone. Requirements
- Maintain current Texas Level II Non-Commissioned Security Officer Certification
- Maintain a valid Texas driver's license (or obtain one within a satisfactory time frame after hire in the case of out-of-state applicants)
- Maintain current American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification
- Must be able to work flexible work schedules and irregular hours, including weekdays, weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Minimum one-year experience as a non-commissioned security officer with a government organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Patrol parks, trails, pools, and facilities on foot.
- Enforce District policies and facility rules professionally and fairly.
- Build positive relationships with residents, visitors, and local emergency responders.
- Support community events, leagues, tournaments, and festivals.
- Create and maintain accurate incident reports, records, audits and SOPs.
