About The Position

Responsible for security on KCEOC designated sites. Assist with day to day shelter operations, client assistance, camera surveillance, observe and reporting procedures. Assist with general maintenance duties as needed. Help supervise volunteers, employment services workers, and other non-staff as necessary. Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of work. Practice safety in all aspects of the job, maintain confidentiality and security of both staff and customers, and adhere to program standards regarding communicable diseases and blood born pathogens. Cooperatively work with staff, community service providers, funding sources, and other resources to promote agency programs, vision, and goals. Attend all staff meetings, trainings, other meetings deemed necessary by the supervisor to gain knowledge of programs to ensure effective delivery of services and/or required by the agency; this includes, management team and strategic planning. Maintain necessary records to prepare reports as required through maintenance of databases. Perform other duties as assigned as it relates to the delivery of services made available by related programs.

  • Possess basic computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Competency in use of email and Internet
  • Ability to multitask
