About The Position

The Security Guard is responsible for protecting the company’s assets and ensuring the safety of its staff, tenants, contractors, guests, and visitors at AHF’s sites, including Healthy Housing (HHF) properties. This role involves implementing security strategies to protect personnel and assets at Healthy Housing tenant facilities in downtown Los Angeles and other AHF locations. The Security Guard will oversee the in-house Security Guards Team and implement policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment. This position requires a friendly, professional, and disciplined approach, with the ability to recognize and respond to dangerous situations effectively. The Security Guard will be a passionate advocate for AHF’s initiatives and uphold the AHF Core Values and Mission. This role operates within a collaborative organizational structure and requires establishing strong working relationships with Healthy Housing operational staff. The Security Guard will utilize the existing Safety and Security Incident Reporting System to submit detailed reports. Adaptability and flexibility are key in this role to provide the best experience for clients and employees.

Coordinating and overseeing the in-house Security Guards Team.
Implementing policies and procedures designed to achieve the security mission.
Enhancing the reputation of AHF by being friendly, professional, and disciplined.
Recognizing potentially dangerous situations and responding in the safest and most effective manner.

Establishing and maintaining working relationships with the Healthy Housing operational staff.
