About The Position
Conifer Park is seeking a Security Guard for their Outpatient clinic in Syracuse. The role involves maintaining and monitoring security throughout the facility, exercising good judgment and discretion, and upholding a high degree of confidentiality. The Security Guard will assist clinical and nursing departments with patients requiring behavioral interventions, provide detailed reports of facility checks and calls for service, monitor facility cameras, and assist with patient personal and luggage searches.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current NYS Security Guard License
- 1 year of pertinent experience
- Valid NYS Driver's License

Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor security throughout facility according to procedure
- Assist clinical and nursing departments with patients that need behavioral interventions in accordance with established policies and guidelines
- Provide a detailed report of all areas checked outside and inside the facility, and calls for service and infraction of safety and security policies at the end of each shift
- Monitor of all facility cameras and reporting any significant findings
- Assist the admission and clinical departments with patient personal searches and luggage searches
