About The Position
In this role you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment for all employees and residents at the community. The Security Guard will secure all areas of the facility, checking for open doors or unusual activity. This position will monitor emergency and safety equipment including security cameras, phones, and life safety systems. The Security Guard will complete regularly scheduled rounds in and around the building and communicate about and respond to all unusual activity or emergency situations.
Requirements
- You pride yourself on providing and protecting a safe environment for those around you.
- You have a keen eye for noticing unusual activity and things/people that are out of place.
- You excel at confronting and de-escalating or resolving situations that warrant a safety concern.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in security in some capacity is preferred.
