Security Guard Full Time First Shift

About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a retail and mall location in Sturtevant, Wisconsin, you will help safeguard clients and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and provide customer service. The role pays $18.00 per hour and is scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, tenants, and visitors while carrying out security procedures, location-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events, following established reporting and notification procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Accurately document incidents, patrol observations, and daily activities.
Maintain professional communication with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.
