About The Position
Delaware North Gaming is searching for a part-time Security Guard to join our team at Hamburg Gaming in Hamburg, New York. As a Security team member, you will work under the Security Manager, maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and team members, in accordance with NY Gaming Commission and applicable operational standards. Requirements
- Security guard, state certified preferred
- Able to be licensed by state gaming commission
- Highly motivated and takes initiative
- Team-oriented; ability to work effectively with others
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Enforce rules and regulations of the local gaming commission
- Adhere to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures
- Report any incidents, following all departmental and organizational policies and procedures, and report any procedural violations and illegal activity
- Fill out departmental log forms, verifying all paperwork is complete and turned in at the conclusion of shifts
- Process guest complaints, using active listening skills to control difficult situations, and communicate with guests sensitively and with care
