About The Position
United Security Services, Inc. is seeking a professional Security Guard for an upscale hotel in the Santa Clara area. Security guards are dedicated to providing outstanding customer service. The leaders in our company, as well as many of our security managers, are typically retired law enforcement and military personnel with proven leadership skills and well-established relationships with federal, state and local public safety agencies.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of public safety or upscale private security experience.
- Excellent customer service skills and sound judgement.
- Proficient in verbal communication with hotel staff, guests and visitors.
- Possess, or can acquire by time of employment, a California BSIS Guard Card.
- Availability and flexibility to work any day, including weekends and holidays, and any work shift based on the operational needs of the hotel.
- Satisfactory writing skills, with the ability to effectively create Security Incident Reports.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledgeable in the key aspects of private security including, but not limited to: Handling hotel security tasks, responding to emergencies, CCTV footage, etc.
- Knowledgeable in the area of criminal law.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn security software applications.
- Possess a working knowledge of the hospitality industry and the related nomenclature.
