Requirements

Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare location protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, access control procedures, and reporting of unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to appropriate site personnel.
