As a Security Guard - Luxury Office Building, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Security experience of 6+ months is required.
• Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, property concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document relevant activity according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout building interiors, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and common areas, report maintenance or life-related concerns to the appropriate contacts, and support orderly operations across the property.
• Communicate with property management, tenants, visitors, and/or first responders as needed regarding security-related matters, post orders, and incident updates.
