About The Position

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Per Diem/PRN Security Guard for their facility located at 300 Market Street, Saddle Brook NJ 07663. The schedule is 8 AM - 4 PM, including weekday and weekend shifts. The compensation is $19.50 hourly plus shift differential. Our inpatient rehabilitation hospital is committed to providing exceptional and compassionate care to best address the medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges for individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current state-issued driver's license in good standing.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience.
• Must be available to work Six (6) shifts per Six (6) week schedule; Three (3) must be on the Weekend (Saturday's or Sunday's).

Nice To Haves

• Previous hospital security or corporate security.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining overall security of the facility, including the protection of patients, employees, and hospital property.
• Enforcement of hospital safety and security policies.
• Performing required rounds.
• Dealing with emergencies as they arise.
