As a Security Officer EMT Fire Response Driver in Peoria, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Requirements

Possess EMT certification.
Have previous firefighting experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access control points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining awareness of changing conditions throughout the location.
