Requirements

Security experience preferred (Military Veteran, Law Enforcement, Fire/EMS, Corrections)
High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
Current Driver’s License required.
Standing for long periods of time.
Light Work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time), and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 to 2/3 of the time), and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists up to 2/3 or most of the time) to move objects.
May be required to lift in excess of 40 pounds on occasion.
This is a safety sensitive position that may be subject to additional safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Patrols lobbies, corridors and public restrooms, confers with management, interviews guests and team members and interviews persons to detect infringements, investigates disturbances, complaints, thefts, vandalism, etc.
Patrols public areas to detect fires, unsafe conditions and damaged or inoperative safety equipment.
Acts to warn or reject individuals who violate legal regulations, including state and local laws.
Obtains assistance for accident victims and files accident reports.
Notifies staff of presence of persons with questionable reputations.
Assists management and enforcement officers in emergency situations.
May enter and check rooms of guests suspected of leaving without paying bill to confirm suspicions and to seize any remaining personal property.
Reports to work for scheduled shift, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.
Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.
Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
