About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard in Olive Branch, Mississippi. The role serves and safeguards clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available. The position pays $16.50 per hour. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only; this posting is for a no-driving role.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
