As a Dispatch Officer at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will coordinate security-related activity by monitoring cameras and alarms, tracking access control events, and dispatching officers to calls for service. You will document incidents, support routine patrols, and deliver professional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors at a tech and data center location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Operate the dispatch function by monitoring alarms, access control, and CCTV systems, coordinating officer response, and maintaining clear radio and phone communications.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as required by post orders.
• Complete accurate shift documentation including incident reports, dispatch logs, and equipment status checks, and communicate updates during shift turnovers.
• Support access control by verifying credentials, managing visitor registration, issuing temporary badges when authorized, and directing deliveries and service providers per site procedures.
