About The Position

As a Security Guard - Full Time in Brunswick, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access awareness, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or site concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries, and report suspicious behavior, damaged property, and/or policy violations according to post orders.
• Complete required reports and logs related to patrol activity, incidents, and/or observations, while supporting daily operations in a logistics and distribution environment.
