About The Position
Conifer Park is seeking an unarmed Security Guard for its Outpatient clinic in Troy. The role involves maintaining and monitoring facility security, exercising good judgment and discretion, and upholding a high degree of confidentiality. Responsibilities include assisting clinical and nursing departments with patient behavioral interventions, conducting thorough security checks of both indoor and outdoor areas, and documenting all calls for service and safety/security policy infractions at the end of each shift. The Security Guard will also monitor facility cameras, report significant findings, and assist admission and clinical departments with patient personal and luggage searches.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current NYS Security Guard License
- 1 year of pertinent experience
- Valid NYS Driver's License

Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor security throughout the facility according to procedure.
- Assist clinical and nursing departments with patients that need behavioral interventions in accordance with established policies and guidelines.
- Provide a detailed report of all areas checked outside and inside the facility, and calls for service and infraction of safety and security policies at the end of each shift.
- Monitor all facility cameras and report any significant findings.
- Assist the admission and clinical departments with patient personal searches and luggage searches.
