About The Position

Under direct supervision, the security guard maintains a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and assets. The Security Guard will be tasked with patrolling the premises, monitoring surveillance equipment, and responding to security incidents.

Requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to make quick and accurate decisions under pressure.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a security guard or relevant position.
Knowledge of basic security and safety procedures.
Excellent observation and communication skills.
Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
Basic computer skills for operating surveillance equipment.
Security Guard license/certification as required by local regulations.
Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
Ability to work in various weather conditions.
Ability to lift moderate weights.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure a visible security presence.
Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect and prevent unauthorized access or activities.
Report any suspicious behavior, incidents, or safety hazards promptly.
May intervene in any conflicts, verbal or physical.
Respond to emergencies, including but not limited to, medical incidents, fire alarms, and security breaches.
Follow established protocols for emergency situations and provide assistance as needed.
Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and clients.
Assist with directions, information, and inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of security-related activities, including incident reports and daily logs.
Submit reports to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
Collaborate with local law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency services as necessary.
Provide support and information during investigations.
