About The Position
The Marshes of Skidaway Island has an opening for a full time Security Guard. The schedule for the position is for night shift (5pm-5am) Friday, Saturday, & Sunday. The Security Guard helps maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and guests. This may include verifying credentials of visitors, checking fire extinguishers and changing smoke detector batteries, even some light maintenance and resident assistance, such as assisting with electronic equipment or taking portable air conditioners to a home.
Requirements
- High School graduate or GED equivalent
- Current Driver’s License issued in State of Georgia
- Moderate computer skills
- High level of customer service orientation
- At least one year of experience in a similar, active security position
- Ability to work in outdoor environment in various weather conditions and be around wildlife and pets.
- Must pass a Drug Screen and clean Background Investigation.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a healthcare environment
- CNA or EMS training
