About The Position

Signal Security is seeking dedicated individuals to join their team as Security Guards. This role involves ensuring the safety and security of various sites, including Walmart stores, courtyards, offices, and other high-value areas. The position requires attentiveness to detail, proactive customer interaction, and the ability to respond to emergencies. Depending on the specific role (Patrol Officer or Dedicated Guard), duties may include foot patrols, driving patrol vehicles, securing access points, and protecting property and residents. Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
Class D Wisconsin unarmed security license preferred
Valid driver's license preferred
Able to read, speak, and write in English
Must be interested in and able to work a foot patrol post requiring walking for at least half of the shift as an inside guard in a Walmart store.
Applicant must have good customer service skills and the ability to interact and communicate proactively with associates and customers.
Must be observant and able to report any activity that could be described as unusual, criminal or liability related.
18 years of age or older
High school diploma or GED
Pass background check and drug test
Must have reliable transportation
Complete training modules within first month
Excellent organization, oral, and written communication skills
Demonstrate a commitment to service, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times
Must be able to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds

Responsibilities

Conduct and deliver various dedicated services that reflect the company’s values, expectations, and consistent service in alignment with site specific instructions/post orders.
Write detailed and accurate reports utilizing company technology and web or app-based software during each shift that align with site instruction/post orders.
Consistently arrive on time for shifts, clock in and out, meet time commitments, follow instruction, follow dress code and appearance standards and expectations.
Interact with internal and external customers on site cultivating a customer service relationship while striving to provide peace of mind.
Consistently communicate with the Advanced Dedicated Guard or the Dedicated Branch Supervisor to promptly report any customer or property related information and concerns.
Be responsible for the care of any Signal equipment assigned during shift including radios, access keys/cards, vehicles, and devices, etc.
Consistently deescalate issues through communication in a professional and prompt manner.
Manage daily activities while meeting key benchmarks and expectations set by the Dedicated Branch Supervisor such as reporting standards and service quality.
Communicate with the Dedicated Branch Supervisor to receive and disseminate information through Branch Supervisor Daily Scrum, such as the client needs and post order changes to ensure operational excellence and efficiency.
Standing or walking for extended periods.
Responding quickly to threats or emergencies.
Completing incident reports.
Maintaining situational awareness.
Operating security technology.
In the case of a Patrol Officer or Dedicated vehicle post: driving a patrol vehicle on a scheduled patrol cycle for specific durations with limited idle times.
