About The Position
Allied Risk Management is seeking to hire Part-Time and Full-Time Security Guards in and around NYC. The role involves monitoring premises, authorizing entrances and departures, and maintaining security. Responsibilities include writing reports on daily activities and irregularities, responding to emergencies by contacting police or fire departments, deterring theft, securing designated areas, patrolling for suspicious activity, and responding to alarms. The position may require walking and standing during patrols. Candidates must possess good communication skills and have a working phone capable of downloading necessary apps for the time and attendance platform.
Requirements
- NYS Security Guard License
- S-60 Fire Guard License
- OSHA 10 or 30 Certification (for construction)
- Valid Drivers License or ID Card
- Good communication skills
- A working phone with the capabilities of downloading apps that are needed for our time and attendance platform.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Call the police or fire department in case of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.

- Walking around and standing may be required during vertical and perimeter patrol.
