About The Position

Join Ginger Cove, a premier life-care community in Annapolis known for providing a safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Security Guard to help maintain the safety and security of our community. This role involves conducting routine patrols, monitoring property security, responding to emergencies, and assisting residents, staff, and visitors. The position offers a stable, full-time schedule with a 4-day work week, including evening and overnight shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid Maryland driver’s license
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Professional, dependable, and customer-service oriented
• Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately in emergencies

Nice To Haves

• Previous security experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of buildings and grounds
• Monitor entrances, exits, and overall property security
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents
• Maintain accurate daily logs and incident reports
• Assist residents, staff, and visitors as needed
• Ensure doors and access points are secure
• Provide reception desk coverage when needed
