About The Position

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for Security Guards at their Wilmington, OH Service Center. The company is seeking professional security officers who are dependable and reliable, and who are looking for a long-term career. Candidates should take pride in their work, possess strong communication abilities, and maintain a professional demeanor. The selection process is designed to ensure that only professional security officers are hired.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation.
• Have the ability to speak, read and write the English language.
• Must be willing to work nights and weekends if needed.
• You must be able to physically stand, walk or patrol the assigned facility for the majority of your shift.
• Must submit to a criminal history check, and pass a drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Previous military, police, or security guard experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Providing protection for the terminals security interests and property from theft, fires, sabotage, vandalism, illegal entry, and other acts that may adversely impact the company.
• Other duties as assigned by management staff.
