About The Position

The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for property, employees, and visitors. This role requires schedule flexibility, including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office proficiency preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout shift
• Ability to stand for extended periods and greet individuals professionally
• Clean driving record required
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

• Prior security guard experience
• Current Guard Card

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to ensure safety and security of property and individuals
• Follow established security procedures and recommend improvements when appropriate
• Respond to incidents and document all violations or unusual activity in written reports
• Provide professional interaction with employees, visitors, and clients
• Maintain a visible and alert presence at assigned posts
• Complete additional duties as assigned
