About The Position

A Signal Dedicated Guard provides static security services for courtyards, offices, pools, and other high-value areas. The role ensures access points are properly secured and protects property and residents through attentive, safety-focused service. The guard follows site-specific instructions and post orders; duties in post orders are also requirements. Guards are expected to demonstrate company values, communicate effectively with clients, teammates, and management, and provide consistent customer service.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Pass a background check and drug test.
• Reliable transportation.
• Complete training modules within the first month.
• Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate commitment to service, company values, and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor.
• Ability to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct dedicated security services in accordance with company values, expectations, site instructions, and post orders.
• Write detailed and accurate shift reports using company technology and web- or app-based software.
• Arrive on time, clock in and out, meet time commitments, follow instructions, and comply with dress and appearance standards.
• Interact with internal and external customers on site and cultivate customer-service relationships.
• Promptly communicate customer- or property-related information and concerns to the Advanced Dedicated Guard or Dedicated Branch Supervisor.
• Care for assigned Signal equipment, including radios, access keys or cards, vehicles, and devices.
• Deescalate issues promptly and professionally through communication.
• Manage daily activities to meet benchmarks and expectations set by the Dedicated Branch Supervisor, including reporting standards and service quality.
• Communicate with the Dedicated Branch Supervisor and receive or share information through the Branch Supervisor Daily Scrum, including client needs and post-order changes.
