CGL serves Central and Southwestern Ontario, offering customized security solutions including uniformed guards, mobile response, by-law enforcement, and identification services. This posting is for an existing vacancy for a Commissionaire to join their growing team. The role emphasizes commitment to serving clients and employees to enhance organizational success.

Requirements

Valid Ontario Security Guard License
Valid First Aid and CPR certificate
Level I Reliability Clearance or Greater
Must obtain a Controlled Good Program (CGP) clearance
The ability to stand for long periods of time and complete frequent patrols
Good understanding of computers
Customer service/reception/administrative skills
The ability to work alone while maintaining a high level of service to the client is essential

Responsibilities

Ensure access control policies and procedures are followed and client property is secured
Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems
Maintain positive attitude and professional working relationships with employees, visitors and clients
Complete site reporting requirements, daily logs and written reports
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and deportment
Maintain effective communication
Respond to alarms and calls for assistance and be a member of MDA’s Emergency Response Team
Provide assistance to employees, clients and visitors
Regular interior and exterior foot patrols
Able to operate a computer CCTV system when needed
Other duties as may be required by the client or site supervisor
