This includes patrolling the store premises, monitoring surveillance footage, and responding to any security-related incidents or emergencies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk long distances.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with security systems and equipment
- Must have an ACTIVE PILB registered work card.
- Must provide your own firearm.
- MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY
- MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO MULTIPLE LOCATIONS
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a security guard or in a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Patrol the store premises to ensure the safety and security of customers, employees, and property.
- Monitor surveillance footage and respond to any security-related incidents or emergencies.
- Enforce store policies and procedures, including those related to theft prevention and loss prevention.
- Assist with the investigation of thefts and other security-related incidents.
- Document and report any security-related incidents or emergencies.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
