As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and communicate professionally with team members and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service while contributing to a caring, reliable, and integrity-driven team at Allied Universal.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A Guard Card or license is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and team members while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer lots, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter of a logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry, and report unusual activity, damaged property, or policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
