About The Position

In this role you will be: Monitor facility grounds and interior spaces to ensure a safe and secure environment. Perform regular security checks, patrols, and surveillance via security systems or physical rounds. Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies involving patients, staff, or visitors. Assist in de-escalating volatile situations using approved crisis intervention techniques. Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring only authorized individuals enter secure areas. Maintain accurate and detailed incident reports, logs, and shift summaries. Collaborate with clinical staff to support the safety needs of patients during interventions or transfers. Escort patients, visitors, or personnel as necessary within or outside the facility. Uphold confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times. Report hazards, security breaches, or maintenance issues promptly. Attend required safety and behavioral health training sessions, including CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) or equivalent.
