Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of production areas, storage spaces, access points, parking areas, and the site perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or unusual conditions.
• Carry and maintain assigned firearms and equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, site requirements, and applicable laws.
