As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Response in QUEENS, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in the job state. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government services location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain awareness of visitor activity within assigned areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and activity logs documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
