About The Position

TerrAscend Corp. is seeking a Full-time Security Guard to oversee and enforce security operations of their company. This role involves implementing policies and procedures to maintain security standards, demonstrating excellent surveillance and emergency response skills, and maintaining a strong commitment to security rules and knowledge of all hazards and threats to safety. The primary goal is to create and preserve an environment where employees, visitors, and property are safe and well-protected. This position is on-site at their Hagerstown, MD facility.

Requirements

• Proven experience as guard services or similar position
• Current Maryland Guard Card
• Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g. CCTV)
• Experience in reporting and emergency response
• Knowledge of security protocols and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Committed and reliable
• High School Diploma/GED
• Two years of experience in a comparable position
• Availability to occasionally take weekend
• Polite and professional disposition
• Applicant must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be and remain compliant with any and all company regulations.

Responsibilities

• Implement security policies, protocols and procedures
• Monitor property entrance, follow entrance and exit protocol for employees and visitors
• Respond to emergencies and alarms, notify appropriate law enforcement and management
• Monitor video surveillance equipment
• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property
• Report incidents, breaches, suspicious behaviors, and happenings
• Investigate and resolve issues
• Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities
• Respond to alarms and react in a timely manner
