This role involves monitoring facility premises during assigned shifts while the plant is closed, conducting routine patrols, controlling access, responding to alarms and incidents, completing logs and reports, ensuring security of access points, communicating concerns to management, coordinating with law enforcement, and supporting emergency response procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to remain alert and attentive during overnight or extended shifts
Strong observation and communication skills
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
Ability to walk or stand for extended periods
Ability to patrol indoor and outdoor areas in various weather conditions
Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs if necessary
Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

Monitor facility premises during assigned shifts while the plant is closed
Conduct routine patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas
Control access by verifying identification and authorizing entry when required
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or suspicious activity
Complete detailed logs and incident reports
Ensure all doors, gates, and access points are secured
Communicate any safety or security concerns to management
Coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency services as needed
Support emergency response procedures, including evacuation or incident containment
